On Sunday 16th June Waterperry Gardens held a Rare Plant Fair and visit to the extensive gardens for a special price of £6.
The Gardens were created in the 1930s and the visit was an interesting follow-up to the recent talk on professional women gardeners.
As announced at the AGM, the Society took advantage of the offer by inviting anyone interested to meet outside the Waterperry Garden Shop at 10.00 am and the Society paid the £6 entrance fee for members.
The visit gave those attending the chance to browse stalls manned by experts specialising in both rare and traditional plants, all in the beautiful setting of Waterperry Gardens.
