Pending a decision on any more formal arrangements, the Society is continuing to operate informally with John Talbot as Chair and an ad hoc Committee comprising Julie McDonnell (Secretary), Tracey Talbot (Treasurer), Mary Thompson and Bill Hanks, but without paying members. Any activities (meetings, talks or visits etc) will be organised on a one-off self-funding basis for the time being.

Scans of several postcards recently acquired by Nigel French have been uploaded to the website.
Among others, these postcards show views of Church Street, Sutton Courtenay School, the Weir, The Wharf, Sutton Courtenay Manor, and Abbey View in Sutton Courtenay, as well as many more of Abingdon and Sutton Courtenay’s neighbouring parishes.
